Introduction

Video2Photo is a versatile media converter which can decompile/compile video sources in a flexible way. All input media can be previewed and selected for output. Before creating the output, over each selection can be applied a variety of image processing effects called filters. The selected media can be exported as individual pictures stored as numbered files on disk, HTML thumbnail gallery, Flash File Presentation (swf) or Windows AVI.

Additionally all snapshots can be attached to an e-mail and sent using the default e-mail client or the built-in e-mail sender. The interface is easy to use, even for non-technical users, and uses a step-by-step wizard to guide you through the entire process.

The wizard presents the five steps of a usual user session. When Video2Photo starts a few hints are presented. If you have purchased the product you can register your copy.

How It Works?

Basically Video2Photo opens a Media Source and gives you the possibility to select individual pictures or sequences of consecutive pictures. The selected picture or collections of consecutive pictures are put together in Selections. After the Selections where selected and added to the Selection List, if needed, various Filters can be applied over any selection. Filters are image processing effects generated by plug-ins. A plug-in can be distributed together with the application or separately. The Filters can be applied right after the Selections where added to the Selection List. Each selection in the Selection List can have multiple filters applied. Each filter can have different settings. The Exported Selections can be stored as separate pictures, numbered on disk or wrapped in a HTML web Gallery. The second option is to store them in a Slideshow Presentation or Animated Movie (Macromedia Flash) or put them back in a Windows AVI Video File. If needed Video2Photo can attach the Exported Selections to an E-Mail and sent it using a standalone SMTP client or the default E-Mail client...
